    Accepting a grant from the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office, in the amount of $1,476, for staff and Heritage Preservation Commissioners to attend the PreserveMN conference in September 2025.

  11. 18 2025 Hennepin County Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) Awards and Authorization of a Multijurisdictional Agreement (2025-00932)

    1. Passage of Resolution granting local approval for projects that submitted applications to the 2025 Hennepin County Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) Program and received awards from the Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA): 1345 Central (Solhem Development, LLC, $500,00); 2815 East Lake Street (Bush Companies LLC, $200,00); Dreamland on 38th (Cultural Wellness Center, $300,00); and Indigenous Wealth Building Center (Mni Sota Fund, $250,00).

    2. Authorizing a multijurisdictional agreement with the Hennepin County HRA to facilitate Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC) grants for the Dreamland on 38th and 2815 East Lake Street projects.

  12. 19 Rescue Effect Campaign grant for adoption fee waivers (2025-00931)

    1. Accepting a grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), in the amount of $13,300, to waive adoption fees during the campaign period from August to September 2025.

  14. 21 Shoreland Overlay District mapping ordinance (2024-00242)

    Returning to author the subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 20, Chapter 530 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Zoning Code: Zoning Districts, amending zoning maps to correct the boundaries of the Shoreland Overlay District.

  15. 22 Cannabis event permitting ordinance (2025-00881)

    Referring to staff the subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 13 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Licenses and Business Regulations, adding a new Chapter 325 entitled “Cannabis Events” to establish a process to provide local approval for and to regulate and permit events held by state-licensed cannabis event organizers.

  18. 25 Seven Points Inclusionary Zoning Tax Increment Financing Plan (2025-00919)

    Setting a public hearing for September 16, 2025, to consider the Inclusionary Zoning Tax Increment Financing (IZ TIF) Plan for the Seven Points housing project located at 3045 Hennepin Ave.
