1. 2 Snow and Ice removal from public sidewalk assessments (2023-00557)

Passage of Resolution adopting and levying the assessments and adopting the assessment roll for sidewalk snow and ice removal from public sidewalks for the 2022-2023 winter season on the list of properties dated June 1, 2023.

    Approving the following Council appointment for a two-year term beginning Jan 1, 2023, and ending Dec 31, 2024: Elizabeth Richardson, Seat 1, Ward 1.

    Approving the following Council appointment for a two-year term beginning Jan 1, 2023, and ending Dec 31, 2024: Nick Raverty, Seat 2, Ward 10.

    1. Approving the following Council appointments for unexpired two-year terms beginning Jan 1, 2023, and ending Dec 31, 2024: Laura McGraw, Seat 2; Jordan Ennenga, Seat 3; and Andy Finn, Seat 6.

    2. Waiving the residency requirement (Minneapolis Code of Ordinances 14.180) for Laura McGraw, Jordan Ennenga, and Andy Finn.

  4. 6 Downtown Business Improvement Special Service District: 2024 proposed services and service charges (2023-00694)

    Setting a public hearing for Sept 14, 2023, to consider the proposed 2024 services and charges for the Downtown Business Improvement Special Service District.

  5. 7 Special Service Districts: 2022 annual reports and year-end budget procedures (2023-00695)

    1. Receiving and filing 2022 annual reports for the 48th & Chicago, 50th and France, 54th & Lyndale, Bloomington-Lake, Central Avenue, Chicago-Lake, Dinkytown, East Lake Street, Eat Street, Linden Hills, Lowry Hill, Lyndale-Lake, Stadium Village, Uptown, and West Broadway Improvement Special Service Districts.

    2. Authorizing 2022 year-end budget procedures for the 48th & Chicago, 50th and France, 54th & Lyndale, Bloomington-Lake, Central Avenue, Chicago-Lake, Dinkytown, East Lake Street, Eat Street, Linden Hills, Lowry Hill, Lyndale-Lake, Stadium Village, Uptown, and West Broadway Improvement Special Service Districts.

  7. 9 Thursdays Downtown Large Block Event Permit: June 8 to Sept 28, 2023 (2023-00697)

    Approving the application submitted by the Minneapolis Downtown Council for a large block event permit to allow Thursdays Downtown to be held every Thursday between June 8, 2023, and Sept 28, 2023, on Nicollet Mall between Washington Ave and 10th St S, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

  8. 10 Summer at Orchestra Hall Large Block Event Permit: July 15, 2023 (2023-00698)

    Approving the application submitted by the Minnesota Orchestral Association for a large block event permit to allow the Summer at Orchestra Hall musical festival to be held July 15, 2023, on 11th St S between Marquette Ave S and Nicollet Mall, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

  9. 11 Uptown Art Fair Large Block Event Permit: Aug 4-6, 2023 (2023-00699)

    Approving the application submitted by the Uptown Association for a large block event permit to allow the Uptown Art Fair to be held Aug 4-6, 2023, on Hennepin Ave S between W 28th St and W 31st St, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

  10. 12 Zach Bryan Tailgate Party Block Event Permit: Aug 9, 2023 (2023-00700)

    Approving the application submitted by Target Center and ASM Global for a large block event permit to allow the Zach Bryan Tailgate Party to be held Aug 9, 2023, on 1st Ave N between 6th St N and 7th St N, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

  11. 13 Mexican Independence Day Large Block Event Permit: Sept 17, 2023 (2023-00701)

    Approving the application submitted by Sabri Properties LLC for a large block event permit to allow the Mexican Independence Day Block Party to be held on Sept 17, 2023, on E Lake St between 2nd Ave S and Portland Ave S; and on 5th Ave S between E 28th St and E 31st St, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

14. 15 City-led sidewalk snow and ice removal pilots and online interactive tracking tool for: 2024 Supplemental Budget recommendation (2023-00712)

Endorsing budget recommendations for proposed pilots for city-led sidewalk snow and ice removal programs and the online interactive tool for tracking street and sidewalk clearing, and encouraging the inclusion of these items in the Mayor’s proposed 2024 Supplemental Budget.
