  1. 2 Contract with the Joint Water Commission for the sale of water (2023-00778)

    Authorizing a 20 year contract with the Joint Water Commission for the sale of water.

  2. 3 2025 resurfacing of ADA pedestrian ramps, ADA Pedestrian Ramp Program, and 2024 Parkway Paving Program: Easements (2023-00779)

    Authorizing negotiation with private property owners to acquire easements and additional right-of-way, if needed, for the 2025 resurfacing of ADA pedestrian ramps, ADA Pedestrian Ramp Program, and the 2024 Parkway Paving Program.

  3. 4 Special Service Districts (Legacy Districts): 2024 proposed services and service charges (2023-00780)

    Setting a public hearing for Oct 12, 2023, to consider the proposed 2024 services and service charges for the 48th & Chicago, Central Avenue, Dinkytown, Eat Street, Linden Hills, Lowry Hill, Stadium Village, and Uptown Special Service Districts (Legacy Districts).

  4. 5 Non-Governmental Tax-Exempt Parcel Street Maintenance: 2024 assessments (2023-00781)

    Adopting report designating the 2024 citywide street maintenance assessment against properties exempt from ad valorem taxation, and setting a public hearing for Oct 12, 2023, to consider the assessments.

  5. 6 Non-Governmental Tax-Exempt Parcel Street Light Operation Fee: 2024 assessments (2023-00782)

    Adopting report designating the 2024 citywide street light operation fee assessment against properties exempt from ad valorem taxation, and setting a public hearing for Oct 12, 2023, to consider the assessments.

  6. 7 Litter Container Placement and Servicing Policy update (2023-00796)

    Passage of Resolution adopting revisions to the 2001 Litter Container Placement and Servicing Policy to clarify policy guidelines and align the policy with current litter container placement and servicing best practices.

  7. 8 Metropolitan Solid Waste Management Policy Plan 2022-2042: City of Minneapolis comments (2023-00795)

    Approving City of Minneapolis comments to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) relating to the Metropolitan Solid Waste Management Policy Plan 2022-2042, and directing the submittal of the comments to the MPCA.

  8. 9 Metropolitan Council Transit Advantage and Signal Priority Working Group: Minneapolis appointment (2023-00783)

    Approving the appointment of Allan Klugman to serve as the City's representative to the Metropolitan Council Transit Advantage and Signal Priority Working Group.

  9. 10 Grant application to the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO) to fund green infrastructure (2023-00797)

    Authorizing the submittal of a grant application to the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO), in an amount up to $950,000, to fund green infrastructure design, installation, and maintenance on two transportation projects within the Southside Green Zone.

  10. 11 US Department of Transportation SMART Grant for a Curb Management Pilot Project (2023-00807)

    1. Accepting a grant from the US Department of Transportation, in the amount of $1,996,000, for a curb management pilot project that is part of their SMART Grant program.

    2. Authorizing a grant agreement with the US Department of Transportation for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Public Works Department.

  11. 12 El Grito Block Event Permit: Sept 15, 2023 (2023-00830)

    Approving the application submitted by Mercado Central LLC for a large block event permit to allow the El Grito Block Party to be held on Sept 15, 2023, on Bloomington Ave S between E Lake St and E 31st St, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

Receiving and filing an introduction of the 2024 event series to advance Transportation Action Plan goals and the "As You Go MPLS" mode shift campaign.
