None. Grant funds provided by the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority through Project Orders are used to replace private water service lines. The water service lines remain owned by the private property owner of the property served.
Public Works Division of Water Treatment and Distribution Services executes contracts for the replacement of private lead service lines. As expenses are incurred, grant reimbursement requests are submitted to the state. The total amount in this Fiscal note is for the full execution of all three 2025 Project Orders.
