Considering an appeal submitted by Chris Laabs, on behalf of Chase Bank, regarding the following decisions of the City Planning Commission (PLAN17533) for a new one-story commercial building at 2941 26th Ave S:

  1. Denying a variance to reduce the minimum floor area ratio in the Transit 20 Built Form Overlay District from 2.0 to 0.235.
  2. Denying a variance to reduce the minimum height in the Transit 20 Built Form Overlay District from six stories to one story.
  3. Denying a variance to increase the maximum allowed parking from 8 spaces to 14 spaces.
  4. Denying a variance to increase the number of freestanding signs from one to two and to allow two wall signs on non-primary building walls.
  5. Denying the site plan review for a new one-story commercial building.

    1.     3. Approving an application submitted by Northside Economic Opportunity Network (NEON) (VAC-1793) to vacate a portion of the alley right-of-way between West Broadway and 23rd Ave N and Penn Ave N and Newton Ave N.

    4. Passage of Resolution (Vac-1793) vacating a portion of the alley between West Broadway and 23rd Ave N and Penn Ave N and Newton Ave N.
