2 Minnesota Department of Health public health service grant amendment (2021-00884)
1. Accepting an amended grant agreement by the Minneapolis City Council acting as the City of Minneapolis’ Community Health Board from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), in the additional amount of $942,393, to work in partnership with MDH to address the areas of public health responsibility and essential public health services, for the period January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021.
2. Authorizing an agreement with the State of Minnesota in the amount of $942,393, to provide public health services.
3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

3 Contract with Metropolitan State University for COVID/Health literacy (2021-00890)

Authorizing a contract with Metropolitan State University, in the not to exceed amount of $600,000, for a two year period from August 1, 2021 to June 30, 2023, to advance health literacy to enhance equitable community responses to COVID-19.

4 Grant application to U.S. Department of Justice for Opioid abuse response (2021-00891)

Authorizing the submittal of a grant application to the United States Department of Justice, in the amount of $1,200,000, for a three-year period, to develop, implement, or expand comprehensive programs in response to illicit opioids, stimulants, or other substances of abuse.

5 Bid for Turnout Gear (2021-00896)

Accepting the second low bid of Municipal Emergency Services submitted on Event No. 1556, in the amount of $224,400.00, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary to deliver Turnout Gear, and authorizing a contract for the project, with the option to extend for two (2) 12-month periods, all in accordance with City specifications.

6 Minneapolis Public Schools Special School District No. 1 grant amendment for COVID 19 contact tracing. (2021-00900)
1. Authorizing an increase to the revenue contract (SRM: 4400000834) with the Minneapolis Public Schools Special School District No. 1., in the amount of $30,000, for a total amount of $65,000, for COVID-19 case investigation and contact tracing services for the period of July 1, 2021 through February 1, 2022.
2. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

5	Authorizing a contract with Corcoran Neighborhood Organization to partner with Equipo Desarrollo Urbano Equitativo y Sostenible, in the amount of $8,000, for conducting research and development of material reports and workshops focused on how to give community more voice in decisions.
6	Authorizing a contract with the Lyndale Neighborhood Association to partner with Fortune Relief and Youth Empowerment Organization (FRAYEO), in partnership with the Whittier Alliance, in the amount of $15,000, for expanding FRAYEO's youth peace ambassadors program.
7	Authorizing a contract with the Jordan Area Community Council to partner with Hmoob Tsev Sam Txheej, in the amount of $15,000, for delivering a 10-month leadership in the public arena training program to train individuals, elders and leaders.
8	Authorizing a contract with Hawthorne Neighborhood Council to partner with Hue-MAN Partnership, in the amount of $15,000, for using the My Strengths My HealthTrademark, a mobile app, to self-identify strengths, challenges, and needs.
9	Authorizing a contract with East Phillips Improvement Coalition to partner with Little Earth Residents Association, in the amount of $15,000, for constructing a gathering center at the Little Earth Urban Farm.
10	Authorizing a contract with the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization to partner on the Mercado Central Project, in the amount of $8,500, for building an economic and community hub for the Lake Street corridor community.
11	Authorizing a contract with Minneapolis Climate Action, in partnership with the Central Area Neighborhood Development Organization and Lyndale Neighborhood Association, in the amount of $15,000, for designing and testing a model for a network of neighborhood organization supported community solar gardens, replicable across the city.
12	Authorizing a contract with the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization to partner with MIRAC Youth Leadership, in the amount of $4,500, for a storytelling project that trains young people in media production to tell the stories of immigrant communities in Minneapolis.
13	Authorizing a contract with Niyyah Recovery Initiative in partnership with Cedar Riverside Community Coalition, in the amount of $15,000, for providing young people and adults in this community a safe space to work with trained professionals who can help them overcome their barriers to recovery.
14	Authorizing a contract with the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization to partner with Camino, in the amount of $8,500, for reviving Centennial Plaza for the community and many of the nearby neighbors and businesses.
15	Authorizing a contract with Salaam Cultural Center in partnership with the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization, in the amount of $15,000, for establishing a job assistance program that will be a free resource the community can use to navigate the job application process.
16	Authorizing a contract with the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization to partner with SOLuciones en la Calle Lake, in the amount of $8,500, focusing on community collaboration to support Lake street residents and businesses to feel safer and more connected.
17	Authorizing a contract with Elliot Park Neighborhood, Inc. to partner with the Urban League Twin Cities Young Professionals, in the amount of $15,000, for conducting workshops that promote safety, economic and social advancement of marginalized community members and residents.
18	Authorizing a contract with Phillips West Neighborhood Organization to partner with Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC), in the amount of $15,000, for the Lake Street Truth Collective Youth Team to do community engagement along the Lake Street Corridor.
19	Authorizing a contract with the Lyndale Neighborhood Association to partner with Somali American Women Action Center, in the amount of $15,000, to educate and train women in Minneapolis about accessible ways to reduce waste.
