  1. 2 Redistribution funding from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE) (2024-01289)
    1. Accepting redistribution funding from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE), in the amount of $107,158.83, for MBFTE-approved training conducted between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024.

    2. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Fire Department.

  2. 3 Minnesota Department of Health grant for cannabis education (2024-01319)
    1. Accepting a grant from the from the Minnesota Department of Health, in the amount of $290,855, for Cannabis and Substance Use Prevention (CSUP).

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Health for Cannabis and Substance Use Prevention (CSUP).

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

  3. 4 Strong Foundations grant from the Minnesota Department of Health for implementation of evidence-based Family Home Visiting services (2024-01320)
    1. Accepting a grant from the MN Department of Health for the project period of January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025, in the amount of $2,506,918.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the MN Department of Health for the Strong Foundations grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

  4. 5 Trauma Informed Mental Well-being Trusted Messenger Program (2024-01321)
    1. Accepting $14,114 from Hennepin County Public Health for a cross-jurisdictional trauma informed, mental well-being Trusted Messenger Program.

    2. Authorizing an agreement from Hennepin County Public Health for a cross-jurisdictional trauma informed, mental well-being Trusted Messenger Program.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

  5. 6 Local Public Health Grant and Foundational Public Health Responsibilities Grant for 2025 (2024-01340)
    1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), in the amount of $4,035,478, to work in partnership with MDH to address the areas of public health responsibility and essential public health services for the period of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the State of Minnesota in the amount of $4,035,478, to provide public health services and to implement foundational public health responsibilities.

  7. 8 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant for corrective lead-based paint hazard activities (2024-01355)
    1. Accepting a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the amount of $1,350,000 per year for five-year period from December 1, 2024, through July 1, 2029, totaling $6,750,000, to correct lead-based paint hazards and other housing-based health hazards in Minneapolis residential units for income qualified properties.
    2. Authorizing an agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the amount of $1,350,000 per year for a five-year period from December 1, 2024, through July 1, 2029, totaling $6,750,000.
    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.
