Background Analysis

This claim for reimbursement of no-fault benefits arises out of a collision involving a Fire Department vehicle and a vehicle that David Grady was a passenger in.  The collision occurred on November 23, 2013 and the underlying claim of Mr. Grady was settled in 2015.  The claimant in the current matter, Praxis Consulting, Inc. A/S/O GEICO Insurance, paid approximately $8,000 in personal injury medical expenses on Mr. Grady’s behalf and the claimant now seeks reimbursement pursuant to Minnesota’s No-Fault Statute §65B.53.  The parties reached a tentative settlement in the amount of $4,500 to settle the insurance company’s claim from Fund/Org. 06900 1500100 145280.
