The City of Minneapolis Surface Water & Sewer Department will be lining approximately 70 sanitary manholes (840 vertical feet total) in Southwest Minneapolis near Lake Harriet using the trenchless construction method. The cement brick sanitary manholes, which are between 9 to 13 ft deep have infiltration problems and structural issues. This lining project precedes a resurfacing project happening in a few years.
