Background Analysis
On August 9, 2024, the MBFTE notified the Minneapolis Fire Department that the department had been awarded $107,158.83 of Round 16 redistribution funding as part of their annual training reimbursement program. This is in addition to the $87,560 that the Fire Department was awarded from MBFTE earlier this year, bring the total award to $194,718.83.
