Background Analysis
The amendment is for three (3) increased scopes of work. The first increase of $17,755 is for the purchase and installation of metal flashing (interior and exterior) on the exposed exterior concrete curbing in the secure drive lane. The metal flashing will protect the waterproofing membranes and is part of a complete assembly. The second increase of $4,314 is for the roofing for the skyway connection over 4th Avenue. The third increase of $4,118 is for removing “flutes and saddles” for the parapet.
The project schedule update was issued by MA Mortenson, the City’s Construction Manager, on January 5, 2020. Therefore, the contract with Top-All Roofing, Inc. needs to be amended to reflect the current project schedule.
