Background Analysis
This grant provides up to $500,000 in relief to convention centers adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Minneapolis Convention Center has had a 95% reduction in event revenues and has been directly impacted by the Governor's Executive Order No 20-99 meeting the grant criteria. Funds will be used to cover expenses such as insurance, payroll, and utilities.
