Section 2: Data
This round of BTAP funding tagets business services for the adopted cultural districts in Minneapolis, which were selected for their demographics as representing high proportions of BIPOC residents and low income households.
General BTAP services serve approximately 80% BIPOC business owners and entrepreneurs.  We expect this fund will serve a similar or higher proportion of BIPOC business owners.  Service providers were selected for, among other factors, their geographic service areas, cultural competence, and language capabilities.
There is not currently hard data on the business owner demographics within cultural districts.  Demographics of businesses served through BTAP will be collected in the invoicing process for these funds.
