Background Analysis
On October 6th, the MBFTE notified the Minneapolis Fire Department that the department had been awarded $117,300 under Round 15 of their training reimbursement program. Reimbursement must be requested by July 15, 2023.
This funding will primarily go towards the training of new classes of fire cadets and provide some relief to the operating budget.
