This funding will enable the department to continue to provide training to new fire cadets at no cost to the City, improving public safety at virtually no internal cost.

Information is critical and if the department can provide information regarding the training of their members, it increases confidence in the citizenry in the ability of the department to do its job.
Effective training of all members of the department assists in consistent, effective response regardless of location in the City.
We can specifically measure what training was executed and who in the department attended those sessions.
