Background Analysis
***Pending full implementation of the recently passed government structure charter amendment, and any resulting changes to the City’s process for authorizing the following staff activities, this RCA is being submitted to Council under the City’s prior authorization process.***
Tabulation of four (4) bids submitted on Event 2021 for 2022 Large Diameter Sanitary Sewer Televising. Accepting the low bid of American Environmental, LLC, submitted on Event 2021, in the amount of $498,355.00, to provide all materials, labor, equipment and incidentals necessary for 2022 Large Diameter Sanitary Sewer Televising, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
The City of Minneapolis has an ongoing project to televise its sanitary sewer system. The structural and operational condition data from this televising is crucial to Surface Water & Sewers’ asset management plan. This contract will provide televising and condition coding data for 49,065ft of City-owned large diameter sanitary sewer between 24” and 72” in diameter.
