The Capital Improvement Projects process includes Asset Condition as well as Equity considerations to identify potential projects, projects then go through a qualitative screening process to create the 6 year Capital Improvement Program recommendation, which then receives further review and recommendation from the Capital Longterm Improvement Committee, and then adopted by Council on an annual basis.

The Capital project included in the action has already been through this process. This action ensures the project identified will have sufficient funding.
